Introducing The Pilots Library
Introducing The Pilots Library
Thursday, January 1, 2009
We are proud to announce the launch of The Pilots Library. Consider how much information the average pilot must retain and comprehend to maintain a safe and proficient flying environment: Instrumentation, weather, airports, communications, navigation, engines, rules, acronyms, codes etc.. The list goes on and on.
As the saying goes, a good pilot is always learning, so with that in mind we created The Pilots LIbrary to bring all of this information together in a way no other product has done before.
The Pilots Library includes over one hundred categories covering thousands of aviation related definitions, acronyms, stories, images and more. New content is automatically streamed down from our servers to the library on your device. This “connected” library will continue to grow with new and improved content all the time.
I designed the Pilots Library to include Wiki-like capabilites allowing users the ability to add their own content as well as edit what’s already there. Feel free to annotate existing content with comments and images. All of this is synchronized with the rest of the community to improve The Pilots Library for everyone.
The Pilots library represents the first of many products to utilize the same connected content library engine to help organize and manage the content that interests you the most no matter where you are... in the coffe shop, lounging on the couch, in your airplane or at the FBO.
If you’re a pilot, a student pilot or aviation enthusiast you’ll want to check this out. We look fortward to your feedback so please feel free to get in touch with us at any time.
Thanks,
John
